  Answer : No, the Goal Zero solar panel is sold separately.
• Question : Is the lantern waterproof?
  Answer : No, the lantern is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water.
• Question : How long does the battery last when fully charged?
  Answer : The battery can last up to 500 hours depending on the brightness setting.
• Question : How long does it take to charge?
  Answer : Like any gizmo that charges via USB like the 600, it depends on how far down the battery is and how many watts the charges puts out. It seems to charge fast enough for me. If, for example, it’s a quarter down, it’ll take 30-40 minutes to “fill up.”
• Question : Will it charge e-cigs?
  Answer : If the e-cig can use a USB port for charging, it will work.
• Question : How long do you need to crank it to recharge if you couldn't use solar power?
  Answer : Approximately 1 min of hand cranking will provide 15 minutes of power.
• Question : Can you replace the batteries yourself or is a technician needed? If you can replace them, what kind do they accept?
  Answer : According to the manufacturer, the battery is not replaceable. You could send it back to them or buy a new one.
• Question : Does it come with a USB cord?
  Answer : Yes, it does. It’s neatly wrapped around the unit for when it’s needed.
• Question : Does Goal Zero have a lantern similar to this but with built-in solar power?
  Answer : I think there is a fully solar attachment, but as I recall, it was kind of an expensive addition.
• Question : Where is the solar panel?
  Answer : There is no built-in solar panel. You’d need to buy the Nomad 10 solar panel and plug it in. Otherwise, you can crank it or plug it in.
• Question : Is there a dust cover for the USB port?
  Answer : No, there is no dust cover that I can see, but you could retrograde it on your own and come up with some clever way to create a cover.
• Question : Does this address the issue of turning on by itself with the Lantern 400?
  Answer : Maybe so. It hasn't happened so far. Have had it for over a year now.
• Question : Are you able to buy backup batteries and replace them yourself?
  Answer : No.
