  Answer : I have no idea what size/group number battery was originally supplied with a fifty year old Dodge. I assume you carefully compared the dimensions. Installation can still be tricky, depending on positions of the battery posts and length of the cables. Just be very careful to never, never reverse the polarity of the connections.

Well the battery fit. The best way to check fit to your vehicle, is to call your dealer parts store and give them the VIN and let them tell you the correct group size.

  Answer : Question does not make sense. You can discharge the battery to 50% or 0%, the real question is what level of discharge will ruin the battery. I do not know the answer.

  Answer : If you limited battery space it will not work. It's a bigger than normal battery.
