• Question : What does this water conditioner remove?
  Answer : It removes chlorine, chloramine, ammonia, and nitrite.
• Question : What is the dosage for this product?
  Answer : 1 liter treats 20000 US gallons.
• Question : Will it cause a pH drop?
  Answer : No, it does not cause a pH drop.
• Question : When I do water changes, how much pond prime do I add?
  Answer : I use 3 to 5 capfuls per approx 600 gallons.
• Question : How long do I have to let the water sit after I add the conditioner and before returning the fish to the pond?
  Answer : Prime is used when adding, filling or changing the water so if maybe your just filling the pond now that the weather is warming up then add the necessary amount per instructions and it is immediate.
• Question : Does it work instantly?
  Answer : Yes, just like any dechlorine for aquariums.
• Question : Is there a water softener for fresh water aquarium?
  Answer : There are resins that can be added to your filter that can soften the water.
• Question : Is it possible to use this in an aquarium in very small quantities?
  Answer : We use it in our koi pond, but it should be appropriate for an aquarium as long as the appropriate dilution is used.
• Question : Can I use this product in a turtle tank?
  Answer : I don't see why not. It just conditions the water.
• Question : Should I add a heavy metal reducer along with this product? Also is there anything else I need to do when cleaning and refilling my pond
  Answer : There is no better product on the market then Prime when you are adding water to your pond or aquarium.
• Question : Will this remove small amounts of bleach that are leftover from sterilizing?
  Answer : Personally, I wouldn’t trust it to do that job.
• Question : Is this the same as the Prime for freshwater Prime? If so can I use this on a 75 Gal fresh water tank?
  Answer : The concentration is different on the pond prime than the aquarium prime.
• Question : What is the shelf life?
  Answer : I do not know but I used 3 year old prime with no ill effect.
