  Answer : Yes, the vest includes a rechargeable battery that is 40% smaller and lighter.
• Question : Is the zipper on the left or side?
  Answer : If you mean the battery zipper pocket, the zipper is located on the left bottom inner pocket of the vest. The vest zipper is located in the front middle.

  Answer : The battery charges with what is very much like a phone charger. USB plug in.. Or you can put the USB into a wall adapter and plug that into the wall to charge.

  Answer : The lining is Polyester
• Question : How much for battery and charger?
  Answer : My vest has a USB plug, so any battery pack with USB and matching voltage could be used. However, about a year later I gifted a vest to my son. His newer version has a pin type plug, which uses a different battery with a specific charging wire. Not as widely compatible as USB. Personally I think it was a bad change. Search Venture Heat replacement battery, or contact Venture Heat to explore your options. Don't let this denture you. I love my vest and use it frequently. Good quality and 3 years going with no problems. Definitely recommend. Good luck
• Question : What is the degrees of temperature for high, medium, and low setting
  Answer : Low is 100F, Medium is 113F, and High is 131F
• Question : Is the nylon outer shell noisy? I would use it for hunting and can't have it crunch or crinkle.
  Answer : Well, it does sound like nylon but it doesn't have arms on it so it is not as noisy as it could be. Maybe if you put a cotton jacket over it it wouldn't be as noisy. I don't go hunting so I can't give you any recommendations.
• Question : What type of input plug is used to charge the battery?
  Answer : The plug to the battery is round, and the charger needs plugged into your standard USA household outlet. Please note it cannot be charged via USB.
