  Answer : It can be used on new or previously painted drywall, concrete, wood, masonry, metal and glossy or difficult surfaces.
• Question : What is the coverage area per quart?
  Answer : It covers up between 87-112 sq. ft. per quart.
• Question : What type of topcoat paint can be used with this primer?
  Answer : It can be used with any oil or latex topcoat.
• Question : Can I use this over raw particle board and then paint or stain?
  Answer : You can, as long as you don't mind the finished surface being a little rough, or if you don't mind giving it a light sanding between coats to get a smooth end result.
• Question : Will this protect MDF/particle board from moisture?
  Answer : Yes, but if the area is subjected to repeated water exposure, it will eventually wear off.
• Question : Does this work over varnish? I want to repaint a wooden chair that has been varnished and am hoping to skip sanding or stripping.
  Answer : Yes, it can be used over varnish, but it is recommended to sand or break the gloss for better adhesion.
• Question : Does this stuff really work without sanding?
  Answer : While the primer will likely stick to the surface without sanding, better results can be achieved with sanding.
• Question : Will this cover up the smell on a floor that had cat and dog urine on it?
  Answer : No, for covering pet urine, it is recommended to use Kilz MAX.
• Question : Can this be applied to sheetrock that still has some wallpaper backing and tears in the sheetrock paper covering, after a light sanding first?
  Answer : While it can be applied, it is advised to remove all wallpaper and adhesive residue for better results.
• Question : Can this primer be used effectively on wood paneling?
  Answer : Yes, it can be used on wood paneling after cleaning and allowing it to dry.
• Question : Will this work to kill rust from bleeding back through top coat on exterior stucco with small rust spots?
  Answer : The product contains a rust inhibitor, but we could not find information on its ability to stop rust from bleeding through.
• Question : Do I need this for glossy furniture if spray paint has primer in it?
  Answer : It is recommended to use a primer coat even if the spray paint claims to have a primer, but a spray primer can also be used.
• Question : Is the odor dangerous to use indoors?
  Answer : No, the odor is minimal as it is water-based. It is safe to use indoors.
