The ALONEFIRE SV71 365nm UV Flashlight receives a mixed reception from users, showcasing its strengths and weaknesses in various applications. Customers are largely pleased with the flashlight's strong output and the convenience of its USB rechargeable feature. Many users appreciate the 15W power, describing the brightness as impressive and effective for a variety of uses like gemstone identification, scorpion hunting, and locating pet stains. The built-in charging capability and the substantial 5000 mAh battery are notable highlights, with several reviewers indicating they haven't had to recharge it frequently. However, several critiques emerged regarding the flashlight's thermal management. Users noted that while operating at high power, the flashlight tends to reduce brightness quickly due to overheating. Although there are two brightness levels, the automatic dimming after prolonged use for thermal protection was seen as a limitation for some applications. The flashlight's weight and size were also mentioned, with some preferring a more compact design. Lastly, while the build quality is reported as good, concerns were raised about the lack of waterproof features, with no O-rings on the cap. Overall, the ALONEFIRE SV71 is appreciated for its performance in UV applications, but potential buyers should Consider its limitations regarding thermal management and the beam focus. **
