O OCEAN DIGITAL WR-23 Internet Radios Editorial Review
The Ocean Digital WR23F is a small and portable Internet Radio Tuner with a built-in FM tuner. It is easy to set up with a clear and multi-coloured interface although the interface takes time to get the hang of. The radio is lightweight and has a strong case with three dedicated favourite station buttons on top, a dedicated sleep timer button in front, plus a speedily responsive battery system that can last for up to ten hours. The FM reception is disappointing, but the range is surprisingly good with no drop-outs. Access to radio stations around the world is available through the website to manually add stations using a computer's browser so that Skytunes never crashes. The sound quality is adequate, and the addition of an actual equalizer helps to balance sound with a good set of headphones or a speaker connected. The radio does not have an alarm function, but it does have a sleep timer that turns the radio off after selected time has elapsed. It is a bargain for the price and ideal for personal listening.
