  Answer : Yes, it does have the torque power for drilling screws into wood even if there are no pre-drilled holes. But if the wood is hard, it is better to drill a hole first. It is powerful enough, but excessive use may break the screw or strip the head.
• Question : Can it drill through metal?
  Answer : Yes, it can drill through most metals, provided it has metal cutting drill bits suitable for drilling through the required metals. The Cordless drill is powerful enough, with 20 volts being plenty enough to drill through most metals. Note that stainless steel is the hardest metal to drill through.
