• Question : What is the volume of the gel cleanser in the acne treatment kit?
  Answer : In this acne treatment kit, Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser is 3.4 Fl. Oz./100ml, Effaclar Clarifying Solution is 3.4 Fl. Oz./100ml, and Effaclar Duo is 0.7 Fl. Oz./20ml.
• Question : Does this kit get rid of blackheads and clear pores?
  Answer : Yes, it is designed to help with blackheads and pores. It contains salicylic acid and LHA (a derivative of salicylic acid) which help to exfoliate away the dead skin cells to keep the pores clear and free of blackheads.
• Question : Should I start using the package if I am currently having an acne breakout or are they not effective for acne?
  Answer : These products are specifically designed to treat acne breakouts, so definitely start using them!
• Question : Can I use an acne patch after step 3 over the pimple?
  Answer : You can, but it might be too much for your skin since the 3 step itself works well.
• Question : Should I wash my face before using step 1 or should I just use that as my facial washer?
  Answer : We recommend using step 1, the Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser to cleanse your face. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and then follow with Step 2.
• Question : Will any of the ingredients in the products stain sheets or clothing?
  Answer : Benzoyl peroxide as a treatment may stain clothing, bedding, towels. It is recommended to sleep with a plain white pillowcase and also to apply the product after you have already dressed. Wash thoroughly before undressing, which is when transference usually occurs, causing staining.
• Question : Is this supposed to start working then cause break outs in the middle of it?
  Answer : It starts working almost immediately, and you might experience dryness with the whole system, so do moisturize. It is also not recommended to use every day if you have sensitive skin prone to over drying.
• Question : Are the products all sealed?
  Answer : Only the clarifying lotion was sealed, but it comes in a container with 3 products.
