The black marker in the set is a deep jet-black color, and if the color of the iron railing is the same, then yes, it will work as a touch up pen in place of a paint brush. You can even add more than one coat, and the paint dries rapidly.

  Answer : Didn't use the paint markers on tires but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I use them to write mileage on my oil filters when I insrall them.

  Answer : Hi,rnI think it would be OK if you place the item in the top rack. I have never tried mine in a dishwasher but have hand washed without any problems.

• Question : Are these food safe? Would they work on a wooden spoon?
  Answer : I would not use them for food. On a spoon the paint will likely wear off under regular washing
• Question : Is it possible to remove off laminated poster board at the end of each month. Want to use for motivational system in my 5th grade class!
  Answer : Probably not, at least not more than a couple of times depending on what you use to remove it. It is paint, a petroleum based product. It would be no different if you used spray paint and let it dry completely on the laminate board, then tried to remove it. The question would be, what would you use, paint thiner, acetone, goof off or any other product. What would it do to the poster board? I would try dry erase or even test a permanent marker on a small area of the board, and use goof off, or dry erase ink remover. It is only a suggestion...but I wouldn't use these paint markers for that purpose. Good luck!
