• Question : Does this palette work with oil paints?
  Answer : I think the principle is you have a thin absorbent sponge layer that soaks up water, you place a thin sheet of material on it that soaks up just enough moisture to put your paint on...logically water-based acrylic paints are what I use it for...the water would not stop the oil paint drying out I would suggest
• Question : How often do I change the paper sheets and sponge pad?
  Answer : We recommend changing the paper regularly depending upon how much paint you put on it. Normally, you would finish your miniature then change the paper for a new project. The foam pad should be washed every time you change the paper. Only use cool water and a small amount of dish soap. Rinse thoroughly. • Question : Is it airtight and portable?
  Answer : Yes, this is airtight. It has a thin rubber ring that runs around the lid. It’s portable to a point. The sheets don’t cover the whole foam wet pad, so if you transport it with wet paint, it will run onto the foam pad.
