The Aeotec SmartThings Water Leak Sensor is a battery-powered device compatible with Smart Home Hubs. The internal lithium battery is designed to last over a year, and the SmartThing Hub can keep track of the battery levels for each leak detector. This device also measures temperature and sends alerts through an app. However, one customer reported water in the battery compartment, and another was disappointed by the lack of integration with Alexa. The product is more expensive than some alternatives but has a sleeker design, longer-lasting battery life, and easy integration with SmartThings Hub.
