• Question : What's the best cereve products for mornings and night time skin care routine if I am in mid 50's w/ normal to dry skin and concerned about wrinkles?
  Answer : CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser, Vitamin C serum or Hyaluronic Acid serum in the AM. While in PM CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser followed by retinol serum (3-4 times per week only) and the same moisturizer. If you want a lighter moisturizer, use the PM nighttime lotion.
• Question : Can vit c be used with retinol?
  Answer : Vitamin C provides a brightening effect and can be used in the morning with a sunscreen while retinol is recommended for nighttime skincare regimen.

  Answer : CeraVe do not personally test on animals but sell products in countries like China that require testing on animals and as such cannot be considered cruelty-free by organizations like Peta or Leaping Bunny. They also sell products containing ingredients derived from animals.

  Answer : Allow the first product to absorb into skin until it feels dry to the touch before layering on the next product to help avoid moisturizer ball up or pilling.

  Answer : The Vitamin C serum claims to be alcohol-free although you may still see denatured alcohol listed in the ingredients. It is also allergy-tested, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and non-comedogenic.
• Question : With big letters on back of the box it says the product uses L-ascorbic acid but in the ingredients section with small letters it says ascorbic acid?
  Answer : The Serum is formulated with 10% pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) for antioxidant benefits while helping to visibly brighten the complexion and promote more even skin tone. The Ascorbic acid listed in the ingredients is Vitamin C.

  Answer : Apply evenly to face and neck daily, avoiding the eye area. It can be used alone or layered under moisturizer.
