This lithium polymer charging board is an inexpensive and simple method for charging single-cell lithium polymer batteries. At a low price point, these boards charge quickly and efficiently. The board has a built-in battery protection IC, and its blue LED light indicates when the battery is fully charged. This board can be used on limited multi-cell devices, but it is not recommended. The mounting holes are not placed well, which makes it challenging to install the board with two small mounting screws. If you have a "dumb" USB-C charger that provides 5V, this board will work correctly. However, USB-C PD chargers will not work. The charging IC gets hot while charging, but that is business as usual for high-current charging ICs.
