  Answer : This dye can be used on silk, wool, cashmere, alpaca, feathers, and nylon.
• Question : Is the dye easy to use?
  Answer : Yes, it is easy to use.
• Question : How much fiber can it dye?
  Answer : It can dye up to two pounds of fiber, depending on the depth of shade.
• Question : What is the difference between acid dyes or reg RIT clothing dyes?
  Answer : The acid dye may require more dye and can result in clumpy pigmentation, whereas RIT dyes are more consistent and true in color.
• Question : Will this dye wood?
  Answer : No, the dye is specifically made for silk, wool, feathers, and nylon.
• Question : Will the color rub off on other fabric? I want to dye throw pillows.
  Answer : If the throw pillow cover is washed and rinsed well after dyeing, the color should not rub off onto other fabrics.
• Question : Can this dye be used to refresh the color of a patio umbrella?
  Answer : Yes, it is possible to dye a patio umbrella made of synthetic fibers like polyester or nylon. Heat the dye to around 160 degrees F and use vinegar or citric acid to ensure the dye adheres properly.
• Question : Will this dye tulle?
  Answer : Yes, but for silk tulle, use a lower concentration of dye (1-2%) to avoid the color becoming too dark. If the tulle is polyester, use iDye poly instead.
• Question : How many ounces are in the bottle?
  Answer : The bottle contains one-half ounce.
• Question : Will this work on already dyed leather? I simply want to renew the existing color.
  Answer : It is possible, but it is recommended to use a dye specifically made for leather.
• Question : Will this work on cotton?
  Answer : Yes, it should work on cotton fabric.
• Question : Will this work on faux fur?
  Answer : No, acid dyes only work on animal-based fibers and nylon. Faux fur made of nylon can be dyed.
