• Whole house water filter that protect your family and household appliance from iron, manganese and more: Our 3rd stage iron water filter (FM25B) is specially designed for iron and manganese removal, reducing iron (MAX 3.0 ppm) and manganese (MAX 1.0 ppm). The water filter lasts up to 3 times longer than greensand due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process. This whole house water filter system also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, herbicides, industrial solvents, and more.

NPT inlet / outlet and 20 in. x 4.5 in. water filter cartridges, WGB32BM whole home water filter system has minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimum maintenance.
• Top-notch quality - the first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter achieves filtration down to 5 microns. The second stage carbon block filter is made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both water filters are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Both water filters have a capacity of 100,000 Gal. of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.
• Please note - this whole house water filter is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home; unlike an RO system, this whole house water filtration system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water; if you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. Please unwrap the cartridges before use.

• Question : How is the filter system installed?
  Answer : The system is easily installed with DIY installation, with a 1 in. NPT inlet/outlet and 20 in. x 4.5 in. water filter cartridges.
• Question : Can this filter reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)?
  Answer : No, this whole house water filtration system will not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water.
• Question : We are looking to install this in a seasonal cabin, can this be winterized?
  Answer : This unit may get damaged depending on the environment in the winter, please contact the manufacturer with more details to get assistance.
• Question : I received this whole house filter and one of the cartridges is broken model fc25b. can i get a replacement of this broken cartridge?
  Answer : Contact allfilters.com as they sell all the types of filters and the canisters, and they will help you with the replacement of the cartridge.
• Question : Do you still need a water softener with this if hardness is 250 ppm?
  Answer : While it is optional, a water softener would help in prolonging the life of the filters in case TDS is higher than 700 PPM.
• Question : What pressure gauge is recommended to install pre and post filter that will work with 3/4" PEX supply line?
  Answer : One can use the pressure gauge on a spin-down pre-filter and a 3/4" shark bite with gauge post filter to install the filters.
• Question : How often should the filters be replaced for a standard 3 bedroom home using a well?
  Answer : Assuming a heavy load from an agricultural well and based on 20,000 gallons usage, one sediment filter and 2 carbon filters lasted for a year.
• Question : Does this filter exist in the 10" x 2.5" size?
  Answer : No, this filter specifies a larger housing than the 10x2.5 size, verify using the product specifications.
• Question : How often does it have to be replaced ?
  Answer : In cases with heavy iron and manganese load from agricultural wells, filters may need to be replaced every three months after 20,000 gallons usage.
• Question : I am looking for a whole house system that is NSF certified to remove PFAS? Do you have anything?
  Answer : At present, the iSpring products do not have NSF certification for whole house systems but it is in the works and will be introduced soon.
• Question : How far should I thread in a male 1" NPT threaded adapter into the outlet end of this? I threaded it all the way in and still have a pinhole leak.
  Answer : Avoid using Teflon tape or metal fittings and be careful not to over tighten the fitting into the nylon thread as the fittings may leak. Use a Hercules Megaloc multipurpose thread sealant instead which is effective and helpful in stopping the leak.
• Question : Can I add reverse osmosis?
  Answer : Yes, you can add a separate reverse osmosis system for drinking and cooking water purposes, contact the manufacturer for details.
