• Question : What is the recommended service flow rate?
  Answer : 3-8 GPM
• Question : What is the warranty on the valve and tank?
  Answer : Valve - 5 years, Tank - 10 years
• Question : Is the system suitable for hydrogen sulfide removal?
  Answer : No, it is not recommended. An Air Injection Filox system would be the best option.
• Question : Does this remove sand and sediment?
  Answer : It does not remove sand or sediment. Suggest using a sediment filter place before the carbon filter. I like to use a clear plastic type so you can see the filter.
• Question : Does the gravel and carbon media come separately and I have to fill the tank, or is the tank prefilled when shipped?
  Answer : Gravel isn't required because the lower basket strainer has been redesigned. 602abcWATER ships this system preloaded.
• Question : Does this include the salt container?
  Answer : This is a carbon backwash filter, not a softener. It does not use or include a salt (brine) tank. Carbon is used to remove contaminants from water, it does not soften water. I use one of these with a separate water softener to clean and soften my well water.
• Question : What type of carbon is used in this filter?
  Answer : GAC carbon is in this system.
• Question : Do i have to set the valve up for the backwashing or is it set up by the manufacturer?
  Answer : You set up, in the program menu after gal leave in tc mode. If menu asks about anything to do with brine set to 0 or off.
• Question : Can i add kdf to the media?
  Answer : Yes, you can add KDF to the system, usually 5-10 pounds is a standard for an additive.
• Question : What is the tank size dia x ht? Is the Carbon virgin coconut shell or reactivated?
  Answer : This is a 10x54 tank with activated coconut shell carbon
• Question : Will it remove sulphur smell?
  Answer : it did for us. had it regen every 3 days for family of one.
• Question : Set up? how many minutes for backwash and how many days in between
  Answer : 10 min backwash every 3 day
