The clips have a nice amount of tension and grip big battery terminals well. However, the jaws are copper plated steel and can corrode from battery acid. One jaw has a lug for soldering, and any soldering operations should begin by removing the jaws via small Phillips screws. The clips arrive without instructions or with short and already soldered wires. Some customers received damaged or used clips, with one jaw melted and warped from soldering, and an exposed piece of metal that had melted through the plastic handle. The clips are suitable for low current applications and can be used with larger AWG but only with soldering. The plastic hinge and axle are a concern for some customers.
