  Answer : No, it can only recover old or idle batteries.
• Question : Can we use it on Lithium batteries?
  Answer : No, this device is not compatible with Lithium batteries.
• Question : Can it jump start the car?
  Answer : No, it is just a battery charging device that requires power connection.
• Question : Can this charge marine batteries?
  Answer : Yes
• Question : Do battery chargers operate well off a generator?
  Answer : I have never tried it with a generator, my utility supply is 115V and it works well. I think that it will work if the generator voltage is stable and at appropriate output voltage.
• Question : How long does it take to recharge a dead car battery?
  Answer : It can take up to 10 hours or more, depending how good the battery is. If your car has not been used for a long time, It is recommended to use the repair mode to repair before fully charging the battery
• Question : Is this a cordless item?
  Answer : No Maria, a battery charger devise requires a source of electrical power, in this case 120 volts AC, to provide DC power to the battery being charged. There are some lithium battery power devises that will jump start a car for instance, but the Yonhan charger is not one of them. It is designed to provide a programmed scaled charge to the battery after it analyzes the battery's condition. The charge may take several hours to complete.
• Question : When in repair mode do you have to ground the negative wire or it can be connected to the negative on the battery?
  Answer : In most cars today(if not all) the negative is connected to the chassis. It is always safer to attach to the frame than the battery pole to avoid any chance of sparks near the battery which can ignite hydrogen emitted from some batteries. But mostly it does not matter.
• Question : Will the charger charge an 8 12.8 100ah battery bank?
  Answer : If its lithium absolutely not!
• Question : How do you charge a 24 volt battery? Does it automatically know it’s 24 and not 12?
  Answer : There is no 12/24v switch on it so we must presume it senses it automatically. It should display 24v when ya hook it to the batt.

  Answer : Maybe the battery voltage is too low, it is recommended to use the repair mode to repair the car battery first, and then charge.
