  Answer : You can minimize crazing by avoiding drastic temperature changes, saltwater, and well water.

  Answer : The widest point of the pot is 18 inches. The rim of the pot is roughly 15 to 16 inches wide, lip to lip.
• Question : Will this pot withstand Midwest winters?
  Answer : We do not advise leaving this pot out during the winter. Mexican Talavera pottery is not resistant to frost and freezing temperatures, and must be brought indoors before the first frost of the cold season.
