- Question : Can this item be used in the rear seat of a sedan?Answer : I have used this product several times in the front of trucks. It is intended to mount to a seat mounting bolt ( on the floor ) but can be modified to mount almost anyway needed. If you are having it professionally installed I am confident they will be able to adapt the mounting if needed to accommodate a rear seat installation.
