The Smith & Nephew Foam Dressing Allevyn Life is a sterile sacral dressing that measures 6 3/4 x 6 7/8. It is sold in boxes of 10 dressings. This product is useful for bed sores, pressure ulcers and to prevent sensitive skin from developing sores. Based on the Q&A section and reviews, this product appears to work well for its intended purpose. It is effective in protecting and healing bed sores and pressure ulcers. However, some people feel that the product is expensive and would prefer it to be more affordable. It is also noted that the pad portion of the dressing does not have adhesive on it.
