- Question : Is the fabric as heavy as in the past?Answer : They claim the weight is 6.1oz. Anything over 6 is heavy. These new shirts are for sure softer feeling to the touch than the old Beefy's. Thats the ring spun cotton i guess.. Not sure if that is making them seem thinner. I'd say they're still thick enough either way.

- Question : Is the deep red color shown accurate?Answer : Sorry, I have bought blue, white shirts they were as shown so not sure on red.
- Question : Which size would suit him (5'10, 220 lb)?Answer : Is he muscular or chubby? If he is muscular he may need to go up size. If he is a bodybuilder type and has big shoulders he may even have to get two sizes larger. If he is more of a powerlifting body type, then he could probably be ok with one size larger. I am 6’ and usually weigh about 195 to 200 during the off season and during the season I cut to about 180 to 185. I was a powerlifter and a few years ago I switched to powerbuilding, and leaning more towards the bodybuilding for doing shows. That being said I have huge shoulders and not all large or even xl fit the shoulders. Many times I have to find what fits me best overall and then have whatever fitted to me if it looks baggy and sloppy!!!
- Question : Are these T-shirts similar to the Hanes Perfect-T line?Answer : I hate to say it, but the lightweight Lands End t-shirts and the Duluth Trading t-shirts are what I have switched to for actual wearing in public.
- Question : Is the color of the Hanes Beefy T in deep red accurate?Answer : Yes.
- Question : What shade of pink do they use?Answer : You have your choice of pale pink, Easter at Grandma's or Wow pink, which is almost a neon. I've seen one or two other pink shades as well. Personally, I like the pale pink, although my partner has made it clear he only likes the Wow. I hope this helps.
