- Question : I have an 18v lithium Ion Makita tool set will those batteries work?Answer : Of course, it works with all 18v makita with a star on the battery. Without a star (old battery model), it won’t fit.
- Question : Does someone make a 1/2 anvil that can be bought separately?Answer : It doesn’t have the power to drive a 1/2.
- Question : Can the previous Makita 18v batteries such as the BL1815 be altered to fit to this ratchet wrench?Answer : All Makita 18V batteries should fit.
- Question : Where is it made?Answer : Mine is stamped made in China.
- Question : Do you need impact sockets or regular sockets?Answer : I use standard sockets or bits. Mainly keep the 1/4 drive in it. I also find the 2 amp battery very long lasting so I need not use my heavier batteries with it.

- Question : Does this set of tools come with a battery and charger?Answer : 9 times out of 10 with Makita products if it doesn't show or list a battery in that selection, it won't come with it. Also, this one shows 'Tool only' too.
- Question : Is there an optional bit socket that can be inserted in place of the anvils?Answer : So it comes with interchangeable drives. 3/8th inch drive and 1/4 inch drive. It actually works pretty well. I haven’t had it fall out or anything.

The Makita XRW01Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless 38" 14" Sq. Drive Ratchet comes with a 50-piece Impactx Driver Bit Set. It works with all 18v Makita tools that have a star on the battery. It accepts standard sockets or bits and comes with interchangeable drives of 1/4" and 3/8" inches. It has a 2 amp battery that is long-lasting. It does not come with a battery or charger. The editorial reviews show mixed sentiments of the tool. Some users noted that it was ideal for light and tedious work, as long as you have good access to use it. While it is great for smaller engine repairs, it is not recommended for any heavy-duty nut breaking. Others found it to be a dud, brand new out of the box, with stripped threads and slipping adapters that made the tool worthless.
