It attaches to the upper frame with Velcro straps but does not have any other tie downs. The material is UV30+ 2-layer protective canopy: 200g/sqm polyester layer + PA coating, making it a replacement to your single layer as well. This canopy was designed for 9.76ft x 9.76ft 2-tier gazebo frames, and it is not recommended to install it on a single tier frame.
