Although the FAQ shows that there is no information about the origin of manufacturing, these tongs pass the magnet test and have not rusted even after being put through a dishwasher. The scissor-style and stainless-steel Construction make them a great addition to any kitchen or grill. However, some customers feel that the tongs are not tight enough and lose strength. Despite this, the tongs are good enough for everyday use and are a great alternative to carbon-steel tongs that rust with time.
