The Weber Q1000 is a great compact grill that is easy to use and cooks evenly. It comes with a grease pan and has the option to connect to a 20lb tank with a proper hose and adaptor. The grilling area is 25"x17.5" at the widest point, and the unit weighs 28.5lbs. The lid has openings on each side, which is great for venting the smoke and heat build-up from the unit. The company advises against using the unit during high winds. The grill does not have a briquette system and is easy to assemble and use. The factory regulator can be problematic and clogs easily. However, many users have resolved this issue by re-hosing it. The built-in lighter on the grill does not work for some customers; however, this does not affect the performance of the grill. The Q1000 is easy to clean and compact, making it an excellent option for smaller outdoor spaces, camping, and RV use.
