You can use it for both paint and clear. Sprays great with both. Tips and cup varies on seller.

The Devilbiss DV1 is an authentic paint gun that can be used for both paint and clear. It performs excellently with all types of paint and has a solid digital readout. The gun comes with all three tips, but the cup and other parts may vary by seller.
