The Siglent SDS1104X-E is an entry-level oscilloscope suitable for beginners and hobbyists. It is capable of decoding signals and provides four channels with good trigger filter options. The display has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a fast refresh rate of up to 400,000 wfm/s. The oscilloscope comes with four passive probes and standard probe accessories but does require additional adapters to connect the probes to RCA output jacks on audio devices. The addition of a Bode plot function requires the purchase of a $350 generator. The scope can be used with a TP-Link N300 (WR802N) for wireless connectivity. While the price point is attractive, the quality of the product is said to be poor by some customers, with instances of poor waveform measurement and faulty select knobs.
