- Question : What size is the lead of Stabilo 8052 pencil?Answer : The size of the lead is 3.3 mm.
- Question : Can it be used only for drawing?Answer : No, it can write on almost all surfaces including glass, plastic and metal.
- Question : Can this pencil be used to add an artist’s name to a very dark background colored pencil painting?Answer : I would say that it would work quite well. It's a very strong white and since it writes on plastic and glass, it would definitely show in/on top of dark colored pencil.
- Question : Will this work on felt? Tracing on the design before beading?Answer : I have used them on fabrics of all types, should work on felt as well.
- Question : How well will the markings stay on glass when using a ring saw and grinder to cut and grind stained glass? Both use waterAnswer : I doubt it would stay on as water washes it off
- Question : Can these be used as a rectal probe?Answer : What the hell??? I don’t think colored pencils register temperatures!

- Question : Do these work on black papers or chalk board?Answer : The white pencils will work well on black paper, but I would not suggest using them on chalkboards, as they may not wipe clean with a porous chalkboard surface.
- Question : Love them but they're suddenly too moist & crumbly. Not sure if maybe I left in moist environment or what. Anybody else have this problem?Answer : neverheardof this.

STABILO Pencils Editorial Review
The Stabilo All pencils are highly opaque and can also be used as watercolor pencils. They work well on a variety of surfaces including fabrics, vinyl, paper, metal, and wood. They are transferable with small lines and do not smudge. However, they may not be suitable for use on porous chalkboard surfaces. Additionally, they cannot be used as a rectal probe (despite a bizarre question in the FAQ section).
