STABILO Pencils Editorial Review
The STABILO CarbOthello pastel pencils are soft, blendable, and work well on top of watercolor. They sharpen easily and can be used for detail work, but are not suitable for large areas of color. The colors are beautiful, although there are no stark or true colors. Some users recommend using fixative, matt or spacers to prevent smearing. Overall, users are pleased with the pastel pencils, but some received theirs with split tips which caused waste. They are a wonderful addition to soft pastels and provide a little more detail for artwork.
