Viper Remote Starters Editorial Review
The Viper SmartStart system allows users to remotely start, lock/unlock their car doors, locate their car, and receive status updates on their car's performance using an app. The system is universal and fits any vehicle but requires a Viper Alarm to be installed to get the full benefits. It can work with most remote start systems, including factory ones, but needs to be plugged into the data port. It can also work internationally, but customers need to contact Viper for confirmation. While generally well-received by customers, there are occasional complaints about installation difficulties, malfunctioning antennas, and unresponsive customer service.
