The cement doesn't come out of the tube even though the pin is still attached to the cap. Do I need a new tube?

Just to make sure that I am completely understanding you, the pin is still attached to the cap and not stuck in the applicator of the tube. If this is the case, and the cement is still moving in the tube, you may want to try using nail polish remover or alcohol to clean off the applicator tip. This may clean out any cement that may have dried in the applicator tip. If you are still having a problem, you will need to get a new tube. Because this is a chemical product we recommend this product be used within a year.

E330 is a good water clear, non-yellowing two part epoxy resin ideal for the application that you describe.
