Bosch Oxygen Editorial Review

The Bosch Oxygen Sensor is a great buy for anyone who needs a reliable replacement. The only thing to keep in mind is the right length and appropriate fit for your vehicle. Customers have used these oxygen sensors successfully in different cars and trucks. There are 4 O2 sensors in a vehicle, and the Bosch 17098 is suitable for cylinders 1-3 before the cat while the Bosch 17099 is for cylinders 4-6 before the cat. The sensors themselves are the same but vary in wire length. To confirm which sensor is required, the vehicle model can be entered on the website. If you are replacing this part, ensure that you have either an Oxygen Sensor Socket or a Oxygen Sensor Offset Puller.

Pros

  • Reliable replacement
  • Suitable for different cars and trucks
  • Same sensors, differ in wire length

Cons

  • Incorrect fit for some vehicle models
