- Question : Does this product require tub draining/ refill after its use? Is the tub water toxic?Answer : It requires you to drain it and you need to wash it down to get scum not to stick to the side of the tub as you drain it. I am not sure if the stuff is actually toxic but it is pretty strong. I had to open a window to help vent the room while i was using it. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR CLEANING THE JETS! You should do it at least 2 times the 1st time you use it and then do it once about every 6 months.
- Question : Does it work for air jets?Answer : Can someone please tell me why people chime in with an “I don’t know...?”
- Question : How do you clean the internal plumbing of a jetted bathtub?Answer : I've used the entire bottle of Tub Jet Cleaner and I still have material coming out of the jets. I would not recommend this product. My daughter-in-law used a product she bought at Menards and was a granular product. She can't remember what it's call buy I'm going to Menards to check on what they carry. She only had to use it twice to see results.
- Question : How much should I use for a 300 gallon hot tub? It is only 2 years old, but we want to clean the pipes before hot tub season starts.Answer : Use approximately 1/2 the bottle, close lid and let jets run for 15 minutes. This stuff works great.
- Question : Anyone have problems with a lot of foam when using this?Answer : All these types of products have a lot of foam. It is a way to agitate the debris from the jets. you will need to clean the tub afterwards, but do not be alarmed.
- Question : Is this safe for man made marble tubs?Answer : Well if it's man made it's not marble. I have an Acrylic tub and it's fine. The cleaner seems to be more gentle than some.
- Question : Will it still work if I don’t drain the hot tub? Was hoping it would clean without having to drain and refill the hot tubAnswer : Yes but your water will be filled with whatever comes out of jets. Just did this process and then drained the tub and refill.
- Question : will this work on a jetted hot tubAnswer : Worked well on a bathroom Jacuzzi with hot tap water.
- Question : Will this work on a softub unitAnswer : I’m not too sure what you mean by soft tub. You might want to contact the makers.
