I would not recommend doing this, cleaning your dishes and filter water for drinking are two different issues.

The WaterChef U9000 is an under sink water filtration system that produces great tasting water. The installation process is easy and doesn't require any pre-drilling of holes. The elegance of the faucet is noted to be of high quality, and the materials used to Construct the filter system are also sturdy, making it a durable product. The filtering function removes chlorine and other contaminants, but may have some difficulty removing calcium and minerals, thus leading to slight build-up in some cases (according to one customer). The electronic water meter is a useful addition that can notify users when it's time to replace the filter. The plastic tubing that attaches to the top of the filter canister is said to be prone to cracking which leads to leakages (per one customer). Still, the replacement process is generally easy and rapid.
