Does this have a strong scent?

It has a light fresh scent - it's light and not heavy. I'm very sensitive to smells and this didn't bother me at all.

Will this product actually kill and or remove dust mites or just reduce them?

According to what I read, A& H breaks down the grip the dust mites have on the carpet fibers, your vacuum takes the dust mites out and you dispose the particles collected by the vacuum.

Does this help with pet dander more than regular baking soda?

Regular baking soda works great, but this really focuses on the dander and helps the smell disappear. Proper vacuuming still needs to happen but I do this every week to my house and vacuum(2 cats AND a dog) and my guests don't even know I have 3 animals. I'll buy this for as long as they make it.

I bought a new rug and it has a chemical smell would this get rid of it?

This is my favorite scent of the arm and hammer. It will definitely help with taking that smell out. For sure. Just try it.

Are you supposed to vacuum after placing this on carpet?

Yes, it will dissolve in the carpet. Great product.

How long do you need to leave it on before vacuuming it up?

I leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on what else I am doing. Strong smell, so don't use too much.

How do we use this product?

I have a smoker in the house, so I use it to eliminate tobacco odor.
