Users lay the file/sorter on its side as they would any file in a drawer, and it does not have pockets. It's well Constructed with great room for expansion, and file folders fit nicely. It includes 1-31 dividers and months, making a total of 43 tabs. Unfortunately, it doesn't have holes in the middle. This product is perfect for those who need to revisit documents by the day and/or month. It does fit in a file drawer, and it has ample room for expansion.
