- Question : Says Stablio 2044 but pencil itself shows stablio 8044, which is correct?Answer : Stabilo #8044 yellow all pencil box of 12.
- Question : Are these made of wax like the china markers?Answer : Harder than the china markers oil pencil. These are also water-soluble, so they will blend / wipe off with a wet cloth. They are sort of unique for what they do, and all the surfaces you can apply them to.
- Question : Will these bleed through thin pages?Answer : I don't Believe that they will. I primarily use mine to mark on rigid substrates. I can test for you on a specific piece of paper or I'd be happy to send you one to test out. Feel free to contact me directly joe@flowercityprint.com

As for the manufacturer's markings, the pencil is correctly labelled as Stabilo #8044 yellow, and it seems that bleeding through thin pages is unlikely. However, some have cited issues such as arriving with a broken tip, effectively losing some of the product, and interference with paint colors.
