    Answer : You can add as many boxes as you want if you have stronger colony. I guess flow hive have same measurements.

    Answer : No, you have to build it but it is relatively easy.

    Answer : I received mine in about a week. Totally shocked to get something so heavy so quick.
  • Question : Is there a ventilated base? E.g. how to fumigate?
    Answer : Yes, there is a vent and a piece of wood that allows you to adjust how big the opening is or completely enclose the beehive.
  • Question : Where are they made at?
    Answer : Made in China.
  • Question : Do you need to wax the foundations? Are they pre-waxed?
    Answer : This kit comes with plastic inserts that are not pre-waxed - I believe you can build the frame with or without the plastic foundation. I read that worker progress may be a bit slower with plastic foundations, but I did not notice any challenges. I did not wax the frame foundations. My hive has been in place for just over two weeks. Last week's inspection showed the workers had started populating / creating comb on 4+ frames (with the plastic insert).
  • Question : Are the foundation sheets waxed?
    Answer : No, the plastic foundation I received was not pre-waxed.
