How long will beer stay cold in the ukeg if it is not kept in the fridge?

You can take it out for the evening or on a picnic and it will keep your beer plenty cold...probably keep it good and cold for six hours.

I use the cleaning tabs and rinse after each use. About once a month I fill with water and cleaning tabs, pressurize and run the solution through under pressure to clean site glass and tap. Easy to keep clean.

I've had beer in it for 2 weeks, in my frig, it was just as good as the day I put it in. But you need to keep it cool and co2 on it. I turned off co2 and it did not lose it's presurer . Lap it up:)

Technically, you can force carbonate still beer using cartridges: One gallon would require ~15g to achieve 2 volumes of CO2 @ 40ºF over the course of 3-5 days. You would then need yet another full cartridge to dispense. The results would likely be hit and miss, and more expensive than other methods, but might work for your needs!

Can I store my homebrew in this product as if it were a traditional keg? Will it keep enough pressure assuming I am not dispensing during the storage

I force carbonated a passionfruit heff to see what it would taste like once my bottle carbonation was done. It took 48 hrs and two of the 16g food grade co2 cartridges, but worked out well. Beer was on the tart side. This will keep the beer carbonated for storage, but I wouldn't keep it in here for longer than a month. The co2 from the cartridges is forced into the beer after a longer time you can notice it. Just like a bar keg under pressure.

Yes, the reason craft beer goes flat is due to the introduction of oxygen. This is pressurized with CO2 and you never open it whence filled. you get to pour a fresh beer evry day till it is empty!
