It does not include a staple remover and there is no warranty mentioned. Opening it for tacking is simple by holding the bottom with one hand and pulling the top black piece and staples holder. The top of the stapler is not removable. It takes regular standard staples that are universal to most stapler brands. Overall, the stapler is inexpensive and does the job, although it may struggle with thicker paper and cannot staple large stacks of normal paper.
