Does this work for plants growing in water?

Yes, this works fantastic for plants growing in water.

How does this compare to fish emulsion?

The quantity of different nutrient would be different, the nitrogen might be higher on the fish emulsion but MARPHYL would have some extra natural nutrients too and trace minerals. We recommend our enhancer as a standalone product but you are more than welcome to mix it with something else. If you do so, watch your dilution ratio and we obviously recommend an organic fish emulsion since ours is organic.

Is this better than organic kelp fertilizer?

It’s 2 different product based out of seaweed. Kelp fertilizer is a one type algae macro algae fertilizer which mesns that you have one type of nutrients and that because it’s a macroalgae, it can take much longer for the plant to absorb. Ours consists of up to 80 different species of phytoplankton (micro algae) so t cynically you have nutrients for 80 different algae. On top of that because it’s a micro algae the plant will be able to absorb the nutrients within hours/days of the application.

Can I use this with recharge fertilizer?

I'm not sure if it can be mixed with an additional fertilizer... but the ratio I use is one tblspn to s gallon of water.

Can this be used for aroid plants?

Yes absolutely it can be used on all plants.

Would I be able to use this on my croton petra?

Yes you would be able to use it for that.

Is Marine Phytoplankton (micro seaweed) different than regular kelp and seaweed fertilizers?

We harvest Marine Phytoplankton from the wild hence we have up to 80 different species of micro algae that each bring something in term of nutrients and benefits. By being micro they can be absorbed by the plants almost instantly and are highly nutritious. After all, the entire marine life (including whales) feed out of plankton. Kelp is a macro algae and a one specie algae hence while you still get a lot of good nutrients it is definitely not as nutritious as our wild Marine Phytoplankton.

Can I add marphyl to the water while waiting for roots to form in a glass propagation?

Yes, it’s highly recommended.
