If you live near Bakersfield, Ca, there is a place East of town, on Hwy 58 that sells Medjool dates. Only about 20 miles East of Weedpatch Hwy on the North Side of 58.

Bard Valley Natural Fresh Medjool dates come unpitted and pitted. The unpitted say "Whole" in large letters on the package. Packaged in different types of packaging. The best is the zip-top bag, because it is better sealed. When I buy the plastic carton type, I transfer them to a zip-top bag.

Are these processed in a nut-free facility?

HI FRIEND, I JUST CHECKED, THEY ARE NOT PROCESSED IN NOT FRE FACILITY.

Are these dates Gluten Free?

Not sure, but they were horrible, dried to dust. Had to throw away.

Some customers have had trouble finding the product but there is a place in Bakersfield that sells them. The product needs to be refrigerated and are processed in a facility with nuts. The dates are gluten-free. The reviews for this product are mostly positive with customers saying that the dates are fresh, sweet, and have a great texture. They are a good alternative to bananas and great for making date syrup, smoothies, and dressings. However, some customers do not like the taste of dates and one customer found them to be dried out and unusable.
