Will this mount on my HHA optimizer tetra ?

It mounted up on my quad hdx just fine.

I have a bear legend xr rth. Is this more ridged than the flimsy one that came on the bow

The quiver its self is ridged. The mounting bracket is solid. But there is some play or wiggle were the quiver snaps into the bracket. It is secure. It doesn't bother me because when I'm set up my quiver is off my bow. All in all it is very good, lights are awesome, there is some extra weight with all that when it is on the bow.

Is this a free standing quiver?

It’s a one piece quiver that clips on a bracket.

Will this fit a crossbow?

It would fit but it would be real long.

Why does it say sport type basketball

I have no earthly idea but it's definitely for compound bow.
