Question : Are these lids ok for long term storage of foods like rice, flour beans etc?
Answer : Yes, these lids are food-grade and safe for storage of foods. We do recommend testing our products to ensure they fit your needs. Typically length of storage time would depend on the food itself, among other details such as water content, packing method, etc.
Question : Is it normal when twisting closing the lid that it keeps spinning? Should it stop when tightened?
Answer : There should be a rubber seal around the lid. They lid should screw on, and snug down against that rubber seal, and stop. It shouldn’t keep spinning. I would suggest contacting the company.
