- Question : Is it OK to remove the canister and clean under cold running water?Answer : You would be fine if you made sure everything was dry before putting the canister back on the vacuum. Double check with the owners manual if you have any concerns.

The Shark NV356E vacuum is a bagless unit that is suitable for cleaning pet hair. It has two brush rolls - a standard and gentle - for use on different surfaces. The standard brush roll is suitable for carpets, while the gentle brush roll is more appropriate for tiles and wood floors. Users do not experience any issues with clogging, even with long hair. The cord length is 9.25 inches, and with its sealed design, it has no smell and does not leak dust. The vacuum comes with an attachment specifically designed for hardwood floors. However, some customers had complaints about the handle being too short, a clunky waste basket, and the dirt getting stuck. The unit comes with a short cord, and the switch between carpet and hard wood flooring has terrible placement. The product is also harder to pull than its predecessors, and the canister fills up fast.
