The BL-5C rechargeable battery can be charged in the radio with a mini USB cable. The radio is equipped with several features such as a long press of the power button to avoid accidental switching on the radio, readable shiny silver buttons and a bright green display. The radio can be connected to a Windows computer to access the file system of the TF card or USB flash drive, making it convenient to upload or retrieve files. The graphic equalizer is available only for music files, not for the radio. The clock/calendar with an alarm and day selection is a useful feature. Shortwave radio coverage has gaps between the bands, but the FM radio and selectivity for shortwave is better than average. The 32-page instruction manual is of good quality.
