The attachment of wood posts to the base is weaker connection than the attachment to the floor will be, so I wouldn't worry too much about looking for direction on what to use if you know how to attach it well to the floor.

Are these railing systems very strong?

No, these do not provide a super strong railing system. These are worthwhile in keeping someone away from the edge or reminding them they are close to it if they are working up high and not paying attention.
