  • Question : Why can I see small black dots through my foil?
    Answer : You probably had some dust or minute debris between the foil and the image. Make sure to wipe those surfaces off very well and use good foil.
  • Question : Why was the backing stuck to the carrier plastic sheet after running it through my laminator?
    Answer : There are a lot of YouTube videos on foiling that use copy paper or parchment paper as the carrier sheet. If you still need to laminate, you can do it after foiling.
  • Question : Can I press it with my heat press if I don't have a laminator?
    Answer : Yes, thermal toner foils will work with nearly any heat source.
  • Question : Can these be foiled and then cut with an electronic cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette?
    Answer : I cannot answer about cutting with a Cricut or Silhouette, but I recommend cutting first and then foiling for a better result. Foiling first and then cutting may damage the foil.
  • Question : Is this a white toner paper?
    Answer : No, this is not white toner paper.
  • Question : Can this be foiled after applying it to my project?
    Answer : You could, but we recommend foiling the toner sheet prior to adhering it to the project.
  • Question : Can I cut this with a cutting machine like a Cricut?
    Answer : Yes, you can. Set your machine to Printable Adhesive Cardstock with your blade and speed at 5, and thickness at 33.
  • Question : Can this be used on shirts?
    Answer : I have not tried using these adhesive backed toner sheets on anything other than paper. They may stick to some fabrics, but the front toner side must be heat activated by a laminator with actual DECO FOIL on top. It might possibly work if you have a laminator that can accommodate the thickness.
